The Rose Midget Pint. Red Book #2511.
A beautiful The Rose midget pint in a light amethyst colour. Near mint. Early machine-made lip. Some minor flaking on the underside of the top thread at the rear which is clearly in-manufacturing and virtually invisible. The lips on these jars are notoriously crude. Nice clear glass with many miniscule bubbles. Plain insert - near mint.

T. Eaton Crown Midget Pint . Red Book #693.
Clear pint T. Eaton Crown.
A "2" is embossed front beneath the crown. On the reverse beneath T. Eaton Co Limited is a second line with the address "190 YONGE ST.,TORONTO CAN."
Early machine-made jar. Some very minor flaking on the lip edge which is clearly in-manufacturing. Smallest bit of olive amber swirl in the threading at the rear.
Large amber filled bubble at the rear towards the base. Near mint. Nice clean glass with some minor scratching. Plain perfect insert.
Great jar with some character to it.

T. Eaton Crown Midget Pint. Red Book #691.
The mate to the previous lot but with different embossing.
On the front there is a "D1" under the crown. At the rear, this "TORONTO and WINNIPEG" locations are listed. Clear glass.
Mint condition.Nothing to detract. Plain insert - stained.

Lot of Two Beaver Pints.
This lot includes two beaver pints. The smaller midget pint has a 4 on the base. The trademark is heavily embossed with good detail. Pale green aqua glass. Well ground lip with no flaws. Nice clean glass. Mint. The lid is the rarer style beaver type with the button at centre. The insert is stained.
The second jar is a larger Imperial pint. The beaver is faintly embossed though the word is quite clear. Plain aqua. No base embossing. Large 3/4 inch chip in the lip that goes pretty near through. Otherwise a very clean jar.
A nice pair of beaver pints!

Erie (E in hexagon) Half Gallon. Red Book #941.
Half gallon Erie Fruit Jar in pale aqua glass. Heavy ground lip. One large chip 1/2 inch. One bruise on the inside of the rim 1/4. One flake on the inside of the rim 1/4. Several smaller flakes. The body of the jar has some light internal stain and quite of bit of scratching to the outside surface. "ERIE" very clearly marked on the base. Comes with an ordinary lid with one tiny peck.

This is an excellent example of an Imperial quart Erie jar.
Very heavy pale aqua glass. Perfect ground lip. Very clean glass. Many small seed bubbles.
Original lid with only a tiny peck. About as good example as you are likely to see.

Erie (E in hexagon) Quart. Red Book #941.
The mate to the previous lot but an American size quart. Equally beautiful.
Very heavy glass. A few hard to see bruises in the lip. The largest is 1/2 inch. Two smaller ones maybe 1/8 each. These are well hidden. The body of the jar is stunning. Great gloss! There are a couple of nice drapes in the glass - one front, one back. Original Erie lid in perfect shape.
You will be hard pressed to find one better.

Pair of Erie Jars.
This lot includes a pair of lightning stopper Erie Glassworks jars that are unmarked.
The larger labelled aqua one is nearly 8 inches tall including the lid. Mint jar. Perfect ground lip. Perfect aqua lid with patent information embossed. Label for Crawford Peaches. One medallion is for the Industrial Exhibition of Toront.
The other is for the Delhi Canning Company. The label is 90% with some bits missing on the right side. Great labelled jar.
The smaller jar 6 3/8 is a most unusual one. The glass is a bright yellow green. A gorgeous colour. Heavy ground lip. One large bruise on the inside edge about 1 inch long. 1/4 inch chip on one of the threads. An odd 1/2 inch flake mid-body near the right side seam. Original lid in the matching colour - mint. The bottle has a round slug plate - presumably for a label.
A very rare coloured jar with a lid that had to be considered extremely rare in this colour!

Alongside the Beaver, the Beehive is probably Canada's most recognizable and sought-after jars.
This half gallon specimen is spectacular! Mint. Tremendous body gloss! Very well embossed.
There are none better! Ordinary glass insert.

Perfect Seal Emerald Pint. Red Book #2344.
Pint size lightning style Perfect Seal in the most amazing rich emerald green.
Believed by some to originate from a Western shipment of these jars - as they always seem to turn up in Western Canada.
Regardless of origin, the colour is impressive. Smooth lip machined jar. Near mint condition with only minor imperfections.
Really stands out in a group of jars!
