There are several variants of the Douglas & King bottles. This is a rarer one with a stamp on the rear. Near mint condition. Minor separation mark on the very bottom. Pefect glaze. Looks brand spanking new! Gorgeous bottle!

J. Tune Standing Stag. ON-88.
This is a good example of a Tune with standing stag trademark. The trademark on these is notoriously sloppy. This one is fairly clear. Very good overall condition. Small chip off the inside of the blob. Minor scuffs from burial. Could use a cleaning. A very good example of this bottle. Comes with a broken unmarked closure.

Empire Brewing Co. Unlisted Variant.
This Empire Brewing Company Empress Waters ginger beer is a variant not listed in the book. It has the top colouration of MB-08, sort of an avacado colour. But the crest is the one from MB-09. A handsome large bottle. This example is in very good condition. Rough base edge. Perfect lip. Very clean glaze. One glazed potstone. A nice example of an unrecorded variant.

Two Manufacturer-marked quarts. ON-16.
Thankfully, the Brantford Stoneware company made plain examples of their bottles. This heavy broad quart is a rare style that is seldom found. Apart from the obvious potstone, this bottle. Lip and base edge are perfect. A great example of a rare bottle! The Glass Brothers quart from London, Ontario is in excellent overall condition. Just one small chip out of the lip. A nice pair of Ontario-made ginger beers.

Pair of BC Ginger Beers. BC-27, BC-25.
A better pair of BC bottles. The Meikle Brothers is a scarce bottle. This one is in very good condition. There is a four inch tight hairline at the rear of the body. Otherwise only minor imperfections. Very clean glaze. Original marked inside thread top. The Pacific Dry has some serious lip damage. The lip appears to be several pieces glued in place. Much of the top rim has been replaced. Body is clean with a good transfer.

Pair of Toronto Pure Ginger Beer Co. ON-172, ON-173.
A nice pair of The Toronto Pure Ginger Beer Co bottles. The smaller brown top one is perfectly mint. Sparkling. Possibly Medalta. The larger one is excellent. Tiny flea bite in the lip. A bit of rust and glaze crazing. Area of roughness on the base edge beneath the transfer that is about 1 inch long.

Cross Country selection of Ginger Beers.
This lot includes five bottles. The Old Country from Vancouver is mint. The King's Old Country from Winnipeg is near mint with a bit of nibbling on the base edge that is in-manufacturing. The green top Gurd's is mint. The 1897 McKee pint has been filled along the lip edge in an obvious way. The Felix Quinn has a flake in the lip at the front that has been filled. There is a three inch crack at the rear from the lip edge down into the shoulder. Stained. A nice grouping for the dealer or someone starting a collection.
