Goodyear Quarter Gallon.

A most unusual little quarter gallon jug from one of the best known companies in the Canadian automotive industry. This little jug contained "Vulcanizing Solution" which was used to turn ordinary mortals into Vulcans. Truly remarkable. A rare small size piece in essentially perfect condition.

Colonial Embalming Fluid, Toronto.

Products associated with death and the funerary business are a popular macabre area of collecting all to their own, Here is a rare example of a Canadian crock made to contain embalming fluid. A very nice example of a Toronto Pottery Co jug. This is the type with blue and white banding. Marked near the base edge for the pottery. These jugs were actually made in Ohio but marked for a distributor in Toronto. Excellent condition with only minor imperfections and a some light rust stain. Not one we have ever seen before.

A. Grant, Quebec.

A nice little half gallon jug from A. Grant Grocer Quebec. The address on Cul de Sac translates as "dead end" street. Near mint condition with only minor imperfections.

Becker Bros., Bismarck, ON.

This two gallon open mouth crock is from Becker Brothers, General Merchants Bismarck, Ontario. Like its much-better known neighbour, Berlin Ontario, Bismarck had its name changed due to the war with Germany, the place name being changed to West Lorne. Excellent condition. Near mint. A rare small town crock with history.
